How will you be introduced in 2032?

It’s 2032. You’re at your child’s, grandchild’s, great-grandchild’s fifth grade class. They are going to introduce you to their class and say something about you.

What will they say about you?

Will they say …

… You’re a great doctor, lawyer, business owner, plumber, mechanic, salesperson, electrician, car maker, coach, or manager?

… You’re famous?

… You make a lot of money and you’re rich?

… You live in a big house and have a cool boat?

… You’ve helped many, many people to know Jesus?

… You’re the best parent, grandparent, great-grandparent?

None of these are bad.

But … What do you want them to say in their introduction of you?

Not what you tell them say. But what’s the first thing that comes to their mind when they think of you?

You have control over what they will say.

You can let it happen by accident. In this case, you won’t know what they will say until it’s too late.

Or …

You can be a person who lives what I like to call the Temporary-Life-Lasting-Impact (TLLI) Life. By intentionally designing and living your life in a way that leaves a positive, lasting impact on generations yet to be born.

By choosing the second option you will leave a lasting positive impact on the child’s great-grandchildren because of the way you intentionally lived your TLLI life.

You are the one who decides whether your lasting impact will be positive or negative.

We all leave a lasting impact. The only question is what will that impact be.

How will you be introduced in 10 years?

By what you do or have done?

Or …

By who you are?

The ball is in your court.
